Victims of murder, rape and torture under successive dictatorships started testifying on live television Thursday as Tunisia -- in a rare move for the Arab world -- tries to deal with decades of abuse.

La Tunisie a connu hier soir les premières auditions publiques des violations des droits de l'Homme connues pendant la période 1955 et 2013. Pendant près de 4 heures, des victimes et familles de victimes ont témoigné des exactions commises durant cette période.

Jugé "historique" par une majorité, ce moment a aussi été tancé par certains internautes: Peur de représailles, absence des présidents de la République et de l'Assemblée des représentants du peuple et du chef du gouvernement, et absence d'unanimité sur Sihem Ben Sedrine ont été pointées du doigt.
